SPANISH TEACHER (C2 LEVEL) (M/F/D)

You will be responsible for teaching Spanish from grade 7 onwards and contribute to the implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

  • Educational excellence: Plan and design modern, student-centered Spanish lessons that promote the joy of speaking and understanding.
  • Bilingual environment: Actively support the school’s bilingual approach and contribute your native language and cultural knowledge.
  • Curriculum development: Play an active role in developing and adapting our curricula in line with Hessian and IB standards (e.g., IB MYP/DP).
  • School development: Contribute your ideas and personality to the design and further development of our young school.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Spanish (C2 level) and very good knowledge of German (at least B2/C1) for working with colleagues, parents and the administration.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you have passed the second state examination for teaching at secondary schools or have a comparable university qualification in education for secondary levels I and II that is recognized in Germany.
  • IB affinity: Familiarity or experience with the IB curriculum (MYP/DP) is an advantage but not essential – we will support you as you learn the ropes.
  • Team spirit: You are a team player, open to innovative teaching approaches and willing to actively participate in the school’s founding phase.
  • Working in green surroundings: Benefit from the immediate proximity of ALEA PARK: a green oasis, a leisure destination for families, a health hotspot and a botanical meeting place.
  • We focus on long-term relationships – including our employment contracts.
  • Benefit from stays abroad and further training tailored to your personal wishes as part of the IB Program
  • An excellent staff-to-student ratio thanks to small classes and our co-teaching model with teaching assistants.
  • Top infrastructure on the A66

Scholarship framework conditions

In principle, anyone can apply for a scholarship. The award committee will take various criteria into account when selecting the scholarship holders: First and foremost, the economic eligibility of an applicant family. This is based on the average household income (approx. €70,000) in the Main-Kinzig district and the applicant confirms that they have a lower household income. Voluntary commitment, special achievements or a particularly convincing application are also taken into account.

When applying for a scholarship, applicants must provide basic information, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation from a (class) teacher. After submission, the awarding committee will review the application and contact the applicants regarding the next steps.

At the present moment, two scholarship programs have already been confirmed.

  1. The Norbert Strauss partial scholarship
    5x per year
Covers €400 of the school fees
  2. The Bad Orb full scholarship
    2x per year
    Covers the entire school fees

Further scholarship programs are currently being developed.

There will be both full and partial scholarships. Depending on the type of scholarship, either all or part of the school fees will be covered by the scholarship. Both scholarship models cover tuition fees up to the 10th grade to the extent indicated.
