SCHOLARSHIP & FEES

The ALEA SCHOOL is an independent school. We are currently developing a sophisticated scholarship program to enable barrier-free access to the ALEA SCHOOL. The first scholarship programs have already been announced – further scholarship holders have expressed interest. The ALEA SCHOOL welcomes applications for scholarships – and other supporters of the scholarship programs!

The school fees will be €500 per month plus dinner money when school starts in 2025.

Sibling discount:
Siblings receive a 25% discount on the regular school fees.

Anyone can apply for a scholarship. The awards committee will take various criteria into account when selecting scholarship holders: First and foremost, the economic eligibility of an applicant family. This is based on the average net household income in the Main-Kinzig district. Voluntary work, special achievements or a particularly convincing application are also taken into account.

When applying for a scholarship, applicants must provide basic information, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation from a (class) teacher. After submission, the awarding committee will review the application and contact the applicants regarding the next steps.

At the present moment, two scholarship programs have already been confirmed.

  • The Norbert Strauss partial scholarship
    5x per year
Covers three quarters of school fees
  • The Bad Orb full scholarship
    2x per year
    Covers the entire school fees

Further scholarship programs are currently being developed.

There will be both full and partial scholarships. Depending on the type of scholarship, either all or part of the school fees will be covered by the scholarship. Both previous scholarship models cover tuition fees up to the 10th grade to this extent.

Yes, that is possible. We are delighted to have sponsors of ALEA SCHOOL – especially in the form of a student scholarship. One pioneer is the town of Bad Orb, which will be awarding a full scholarship from the 2025/2026 school year. As a private individual or entrepreneur, you can provide a partial or full scholarship to a defined number of pupils.

Voluntary commitment, special achievements or a particularly convincing application are also taken into account.
